Dr. Michael Kwok-Choi Kan, MD

Dr. Kan was board certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology in 1973, and also became board certified in Nuclear Medicine and Radioisotopic Pathology in 1974. Dr. Kan received his medical degree from University of Hong Kong in 1968. He served his rotating internship at both Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and served his residency specializing in Pathology at Queens Medical Center in Hawaii as well as the University of Oregon in Portland. He also spent over a year completing his fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Donner Laboratory and Lawrence Radiation Laboratory at University of California, Berkeley before starting his practice in Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
