Meet Michael Roos, PA-C
Michael Roos served as a medic in the US Army
from 1988 – 1994. His service included tours in
Germany, Iraq / Kuwait and Oklahoma. While in
Oklahoma he worked as an emergency medical
technician (EMT) on a Paramedic level ambulance
service and in the Emergency Room for 3 years.
Mr.
Roos left military service to pursue his education in
medicine, while working full time in pharmaceutical
research, and received his undergraduate degree in
Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1999.
He graduated from the Des Moines University
Osteopathic Medical Center’s Physician Assistant
Program in 2001.
He was trained in Dermatology by
Dr. Daulat and worked for Las Vegas Skin and
Cancer Clinics and Mohave Skin and Cancer Clinics
from over 9 years.
There he treated all types of
dermatology conditions, ranging from acne,
psoriasis, and autoimmune diseases to surgical
removal of moles, cysts, Basal Cell, Squamous Cell
and Melanoma Cancers.
During his time with …Las
Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinics he spent 5 years
helping to train resident physicians during their
dermatology residencies. He has over 15 years of
experience in cosmetic injectable and laser
treatments. Mr. Roos spent the last 13 1/2 years
running 3 independent Dermatology Clinics and
serving the areas of Las Vegas, Pahrump and
Mesquite, Nevada.
He has been back with Mohave
Dermatology for over 5 years. Mohave Dermatology
Clinics in Pahrump and Mesquite, Nevada continue
providing quality dermatology care to the members
of those communities.
Mr. Roos currently has over
20 years Dermatology experience.
