Mike is a Professional Counselor, a clinical member of the American Counseling Association, and has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College. His orientation to counseling is a humanistic, collaborative, person-centered therapeutic approach that is supportive, compassionate, and nurturing. Mike utilizes solution-focused psychological approaches with the knowledge that healing begins with an individuals’ acceptance and desire to create change within their lives. Mike leverages his life-span perspective and his desire to relieve suffering. His approach incorporates the client’s learned cognitions, family dynamics, and social dynamics to bring awareness to patterns of thoughts and behaviors that may be dysfunctional and causing distress. Mike has experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, loss, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder, and he enjoys assisting children, adolescents, and adults with diverse issues to address their concerns.Mike has worked with …a variety of clients in an outpatient setting that includes various ages, sexual orientations, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds.
