Born in Chicago and raised in St. Petersburg from a young age, Dr. Reilly’s journey into medicine was driven by his passion for wellness and his love for his community. After earning his medical degree from Loyola Medical School of Chicago, he returned to St. Pete to complete his residency and has remained a cornerstone of the local healthcare landscape ever since.
Dr. Reilly is board-certified in Family Medicine, Adolescent Medicine, Sports Medicine and Geriatrics a distinction held by only a select few nationwide. His relentless pursuit of knowledge is evidenced by his remarkable dedication to continuing education, averaging over 400 hours annually—significantly in the top one percent. This commitment ensures that he stays at the forefront of medical advancements to provide his patients with the best possible care.
…Beyond his practice, Dr. Reilly is deeply involved in community service. For over four decades, he has volunteered at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and mentored hundreds of medical students, imparting his extensive expertise. His contributions extend to the realm of sports medicine, having served as the medical team doctor for the Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and participating in the St. Anthony’s Triathlon for nearly forty years.
Dr. Reilly’s accolades underscore his impact both in medicine and the community. He has been honored with numerous awards, including the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Boy Scouts and the Franciscan Award from St. Anthony’s Hospital. Outside of medicine, he cherishes time with his wife Jennifer and their six boys, enjoying sports like tennis and fostering a strong family bond through outdoor activities.
