Dr. Michelle Lee Klein, MD

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Klein, who has covered our practice since 2008, is now an official member of our group. In addition to being a board certified pediatrician, Dr. Klein also specializes in Pediatric Endocrinology. Dr. Klein received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from UCLA, her master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University; and her medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Klein completed her residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served an additional year as Pediatric Chief Resident. Dr. Klein, then went on to complete her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology, also at Mount Sinai Hospital. During her training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Klein maintained an active schedule in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows and, in this regard was honored with the Arnold Gold Humanism in Medicine Teaching Award. Dr. Klein is particularly interested in growth and short stature, thyroid …disease, children born small for gestational age, abnormal pubertal development, and has authored many publications on these topics. In her spare time, Dr. Klein enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
