Dr. Michelle Lynn Arshinkoff

Michelle is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has treated teenage clients as well as geriatric clients in their nineties. She has treated clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, schizophrenia, substance abuse and addiction, and borderline personality disorder, as well as schizoaffective and sleep disorders. She is a dedicated healthcare provider who works very hard to help each and every client heal and become a functioning member of society again through education, therapy, non-medicinal therapies, and medication as needed. Michelle completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree at Chamberlain University and her PMHNP at Valdosta State University. Michelle possesses excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to establishing trust with her clients. She always reminds clients that, despite the negative stigma that can be associated with mental health disorders, it takes a very strong person to seek help. She always spends the …necessary time to get a thorough initial psychiatric evaluation which helps her utilize the tools she needs to best treat the client. She is an advocate for therapy for most of her clients in combination with group therapies in conjunction with medication therapy if needed. The world in which we currently live can be both challenging and scary at the same time. Michelle will take the necessary time to get to know you and listen to your needs and how you describe the things in your life that currently cause you concern and stress.
