Dr. Miranda Chakos is an Adult Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist, with over 20 years of experience. She has extensive experience in treating patients with depression and other mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, psychological symptoms secondary to General Medical Disorder or chronic pain, somatoform disorders, insomnia, and ADHD. Her approach is to conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including integration of laboratory, radiological and clinical findings, and prescribing appropriate pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment. In her free time Dr. Chakos enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She also loves being outdoors, traveling, reading, and enjoying the performing arts.
