He graduated with honors from University of Miami and earned his medical degree from State University of New York. Dr. Wilker completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Suny Downstate Medical Center, NY and his fellowship in California with Spine Group Beverly Hills. Dr. Wilker moved to California for an intensive Spine Surgery Fellowship and once he completed his fellowship he left to create his own practice. He has been able to open spine centers across California.
