Dr. Neal D. Uitvlugt, MD

Dr. Uitvlugt graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He completed his medical degree and general surgery resident training at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Uitvlugt’s fellowship training included a pediatric surgery research position at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University and a pediatric ECMO fellow position at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He also completed a two year pediatric surgery residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Uitvlugt is a board certified pediatric surgeon. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine.
