Dr. Neil Thomas Tucker, MD

Dr. Tucker has been practicing gastroenterology of infants, children, and adolescents for over 20 years. He has a special interest in celiac disease,
inflammatory bowel disease, and motility disorders.
He is skilled at upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, esophageal dilatation, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, and anorectal manometry. Dr. Tucker grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. As an undergraduate, he went to the University of Maryland and attended medical school at the L’Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia and his pediatric gastroenterology at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in New York. He was an assistant professor and clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Center at San Antonio, Texas. He practiced pediatric gastroenterology in Texas for 20 years.
Dr. Tucker is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric …Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy Pediatrics, American Gastroenterological Association, North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, American College of Gastroenterology, Broward Pediatric Society and Florida Pediatric Society. He is on staff at Broward General Medical Center.
South Florida has been his home for over 3 years during which time he has worked for Broward Health. He is married with 2 children. He is fluent in French and enjoys traveling, snorkeling and photography when he is not in the office.
