Nicky Leung, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all problems from the fingertips to the elbow, in adults and children. He is the assistant chief of the Division of Hand Surgery and has been in practice at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA for the past decade. Dr. Leung is an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at the Tufts University School of Medicine. He continues to perform and publish research in hand surgery. Though Dr. Leung is involved in lecturing and teaching orthopedic surgery residents, he is always personally involved in the individualized, hands-on care of every one of his patients, emphasizing non-surgical treatment whenever possible. Dr. Leung has been named a Castle Connolly / Boston Magazine Top Doctor every year since 2017.Dr. Leung underwent medical school training at Northwestern University, orthopedic surgery residency training at Tufts Medical Center, hand surgery fellowship training at NYU-Hospital for Joint …Diseases, and further post-fellowship training in complex elbow surgery at the Mayo Clinic and the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
