I received my training in internal medicine as I started my journey through allopathic western medicine. I have always been interested in wellness and anti-aging medicine. The fact that western medicine would not always provide solutions and frequently did not concentrate on the underlying cause of disease irritated and rendered me helpless. As I became older, I started experiencing weariness and gastrointestinal issues. I looked for doctors who could help, but I could not locate any. As I visited several doctors, I noticed that there is no personalized care when you are a patient using the traditional medical model. Instead, you are given a label.
I resolved to treat my problems independently and take control of my health. This motivated me to learn about functional and alternative medicine. Instead of concentrating on the ill care paradigm, I adore spending quality time with my patients. I always focused on the underlying cause of disease and became an expert in intestinal health …and endocrine as a source of fatigue.
I’m passionate about anti-aging medicine and the growing evidence that the environment affects our health. Due to my training in nutrition-related topics, I can offer complementary treatments and procedures that have been practiced for ages in eastern cultures but aren’t found in western medicine.
I received training in Functional medicine, Naturopathy, detoxification, cosmetic procedures, IV therapy, essential oil therapy, as well as hormone replacement from the Institute of Functional Medicine, to assist you in managing your health.
