There are no questions!
I brought my newborn in for her first checkup sweating bullets – I’d been googling every little sniffle and was convinced I was doing everything wrong. Dr. Larrazolo took one look at me and said ‘Mama, put your phone away – she’s perfect and you’re doing great.’ That instant relief!
What I love is how he explains things without making me feel dumb. When I asked about diaper rash, instead of medical jargon he said ‘Think of it like a little pizza oven down there – we just need to cool it off!’ My husband still laughs about that. He’s got this magic trick where he distracts babies with silly faces during exams – my daughter actually giggles at shots now.
After our 2AM panic call about a fever (sorry, doc!), and him calmly walking us through it, I’ll never trust anyone else with my baby. His receptionist even texts appointment reminders with little heart emojis – it’s the little things.
