Dr. Pierre makes it a point to spend time with his patients so he can listen to concerns, answer questions and help them understand treatment options. He has been practicing adult reconstructive, restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry in private practice since 1983, and was elected by his peers to be included in the list of The Best Dentists in America in 2004 and 2005.
Outside of practice, Dr. Pierre has consulted for the Army, Air Force and Marines, and lectured in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Dr. Pierre graduated in 1970 from the Dental School at the University of Paris in France where he later worked in private practice and taught at the School of Dentistry. He attended the fixed periodontal prosthesis postgraduate program at the University of Illinois, where he received his …specialty certificate in fixed prosthodontics in 1976. He then attended the periodontics postgraduate program at the University of Illinois, receiving his specialty certificate in periodontics in 1977.
Appointed an assistant professor at the University of Illinois, he taught undergraduate and graduate students and later became director of the periodontal prosthesis postgraduate program. In this position he trained dentists to treat patients with complex and complicated dental conditions. He also taught at Northwestern University Dental School in the department of biomaterials.
Dr. Pierre became a part of the ClearChoice team in 2007, and is licensed to practice as a general dentist in Illinois.
