Dr. Patrick Foye is well-known for his expertise in non-surgical treatment of a variety of painful conditions of the back, tailbone (coccyx) and limbs. Conditions treated include low back pain, lumbar herniated discs, sciatica (nerve irritation traveling down the leg), muscle spasms, tendinitis, arthritis, coccyx injuries, etc. Dr. Foye’s personable, private-practice office is located on a modern, renowned, academic medical school campus. Dr. Foye is an Associate Professor of PM&R at UMDNJ: New Jersey Medical School. He has won multiple awards for his teaching abilities, bedside manner, and community service. Dr. Foye has given hundreds of lectures, and he publishes extensively within the medical literature.
Tailbone pain: Over his many years in practice, Dr. Foye has also gained special expertise in the non-surgical treatment of tailbone pain (also called coccyx pain, or coccydynia). Dr. Foye’s non-surgical treatments are helpful for the majority of patients with tailbone bone, and …he has published on this topic in medical journals. His publications within the accepted medical journals have documented that some patients with tailbone pain can actually be cured (100% relief) with a single injection, if the correct specific site is injected. Most patients will receive at least a significant amount of relief. Dr. Foye also lectures on the topic of tailbone injury and low back pain. He teaches doctors not to ignore or trivialize patients with tailbone pain, since a painful coccyx can significantly decrease a patient’s quality of life. Patients with tailbone pain deserve empathy, understanding, appropriate work-up, and good medical advice about treatment options.
Coming for an appointment: Dr. Foye’s office is in northern New Jersey.
