I always look to find that ‘other’ option, no matter where in the cancer journey they are. I want my patients to know we are on the journey together and they can ask me anything along the way. Also that I will be with them along the journey: to the end or a much better outcome-whichever way it concludes. I want each patient to know they will not and should not suffer anywhere along the journey and that I will treat them as I would my own family.
