Peter M. Farmer, MD joined the North Shore-LIJ Health System in 1982 as an attending pathologist. Dr. Farmer is also a consultant for the Chief Medical Examiner for Nassau County and holds an appointment at New York University Medical Center as an Associate Professor of Pathology. | Dr. Farmer received his MD from Jefferson Medical College and is board certified in Neuropathology and Anatomic Pathology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuropathologists, Association of Clinical Scientists, The Nassau County Society of Pathologists and is also on the Editorial Board of the Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Science. Dr. Farmer has presented at over three dozen seminars and conferences and has authored over 30 articles and book chapters.
