Dr Phyllis Witzel Speiser

Dr. Phyllis W. Speiser is Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY and Professor of Pediatrics at Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine. She also serves as an Associate Investigator at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research with a long-standing interest in congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) and related disorders and has published and lectured widely on these topics. She served as Chair of The Endocrine Society Task Force for Clinical Practice Guidelines for CAH and is on the Medical Advisory Boards of The CARES Foundation and the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation. Other clinical research interests include childhood obesity and diabetes.
Dr. Speiser & her colleagues at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York strive to deliver quality care to infants, children, and adolescent to age 18 years affected by endocrine disorders.
