Dr. Rachel Pase Sosland, MD

Dr. Sosland received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University, St. Louis and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Kansas School of Medicine where she served as Chief Fellow of Cardiology. Dr. Sosland is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and ABIM Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases. Her areas of expertise include non-invasive imaging techniques, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CTA. She has particular interests in women’s cardiovascular health, prevention, lipidology, and atherosclerosis. She has published extensively on cardiovascular topics and has been asked to present her research both in the United States and abroad. Dr. Sosland serves on the advisory board of the Gift of Life Foundation and on the Women’s Heart Health Advisory Council.
