Dr. Rainna Puran Bahadur, MD

Dr. Rainna Bahadur specializes in cornea/external disease and refractive surgery, including LASIK and cataract surgery and dry eye.
She is a partner in Eye Associates of the South, which is the only eye practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in which every M.D. is both board certified and fellowship trained. Eye Associates of the South has three clinics – in Biloxi, Gulfport and Ocean Springs, MS.
As a corneal specialist, Dr. Bahadur has broad experience in diagnoses, treatment, and surgical expertise in corneal disease (ex.anterior segment reconstruction, corneal transplants, dry eye disease, and amniotic membrane use). In addition, she has a great deal of experience and expertise in the field of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), and astigmatism. She performs various refractive surgeries (ex. LASIK, LASEK, astigmatic keratectomy) based on the needs of each individual patient.
