Dr. Ramatia Mahboobi, MD

Dr. Mahboobi joined National Spine & Pain Centers in February, 2013. He earned his medical degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where he launched his professional career. He migrated to the United States in 2005 to further his training and develop a broader understanding of the science and clinical aspects of pain medicine.He successfully completed a prestigious research fellowship in the division of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, one of the nation’s busiest and most prominent pain clinics, where he subsequently completed his Anesthesiology residency and advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.An advocate for continuing education, Dr. Mahboobi dedicates considerable time to exploring advances in pain management techniques and emerging therapies. He is skilled in a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatment modalities, including fluoroscope- and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
