Dr. Scott Snyder joined the surgical faculty at Kern Medical Center in 2012 as the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS). Along with MIS he also specializes in trauma and general surgery. He has over 20 years of experience in these surgical specialties. Prior to Dr. Snyders employment with KMC, he was the Director of Trauma Services at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, California and the President and owner of Doctors Medical Center Surgical Associates. Dr. Snyder has also held the position of Chairman for the Department of Surgery at East Bay Hospital in Richmond, California. He has been employed as an expert in electronic health records. Dr. Snyder is fluent in Spanish.
