In 1988 Dr. Ahmad graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. He then completed a residency at Services Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan in 1989. This was followed by an internship and residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, Grand Forks, North Dakota, that was completed in 1997.
