Dr. Rebecca Helen Headley

Rebecca, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She completes initial psychiatric evaluations and also manages and treats mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, and self-esteem concerns. Rebecca is also a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC). Her professional goal is to improve mental health knowledge in the community to decrease the stigma that is currently placed on mental health. Preconceptions of mental health conditions can have a significant impact on one’s life as they may prevent many from seeking the care needed to improve their life. Rebecca obtained her Masters (MSN) and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Wilmington University. Her Post -Graduate certification in Psychiatric Mental Health was obtained from Wilkes University. Rebecca uses her strong communication skills to build a therapeutic relationship with …patients and their families. Her excellent clinical skills are evident. In addition to medication management, Rebecca integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), compassion-focused, emotional-focused, and person-centered techniques into treatment.
