Reddog Sina is a graduate of MSUCOM (2009), Sparrow Family Medicine Residency, and ONMM plus-1 residency at Michigan State University. He is currently a faculty member in the ONMM Residency at MSU, and he is the course director for the “Spirituality and Osteopathic Medicine” elective for pre-clerkship students. He currently serves on the COM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and previously served on the college Admissions Committee. He also teaches with the Osteopathic Medical Scholars 3+4 professional development seminar series. Dr. Sina holds a Ph.D. in American Literature from the University of Cincinnati (1997) and taught at universities in Ohio, California, Oregon and Michigan before he went to medical school. In addition to his work with the OMM department, his interests include Indigenous health, Spirituality in Medicine, and Osteopathic Philosophy.
