Dr. Reinaldo Figueroa-Colon, MD

Reinaldo Figueroa, MD, grew up in a small town in the mountains of Puerto Rico called Villalba. He is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, where he completed his bachelor’s degree and medical school. He completed his pediatric residency at the University Children’s Hospital in San Juan. He moved to Oklahoma City for a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship and to Iowa City for a nutrition fellowship. Dr. Figueroa worked at Lousiana State University in New Orleans and at University of Alabama – Birmingham before coming to Orlando in 2005. He is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology and by the American Board of Nutrition.
