Dr. Reza Habibzadeh, MD

Dr. Habibzadeh attended medical school and completed his internship at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona. After completing a Cardiology Research fellowship at the University of Arizona, Dr. Habibzadeh completed a fellowship in Echocardiography at the University of California San Francisco. He then completed a fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Arizona.Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and echocardiography, Dr. Habibzadeh has had many research articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals and given presentations at numerous national and international medical conferences. He is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and American College of Cardiology. His professional interests include coronary interventions, structural heart disease including atrial septal …defect (ASD), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) patent foramen ovale (PFO) and perivalvular leak closures, and valvuloplasty.
