Dr. Richard L. Marcus

Dr. Richard L. Marcus A graduate of The University of Toronto and a member of Cum Laude and Omicron Kappa Upsilon an honor dental fraternity. Richard Marcus has been a doctor of dental surgery since 1977. In 1978 he completed his general practice residency at Albert Einstein hospital in Philadelphia, and received his certification in Endodontics from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1980. In addition to his private practice Dr. Marcus lectures and teaches to various local dental societies and individual dentists on new endodontic procedures and techniques. Dr. Marcus is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, American Academy of Oral Medicine, Canadian Dental Association, Co-Director of the Huntington Endodontics Study Group and a founding member of Dentist for a Better Huntington. He has been published several times on pain management and has appeared on the David Letterman show. His goal in television; “It is my hope that people who …view a complete root canal will see that it is no longer their fathers dentistry but rather a technology advanced virtually pain free procedure. I hope it will help to alleviate some of the fear and anxiety that keep patients from receiving the treatment they need and deserve.” Dr. Marcus lives in Centerport Long Island with his wife, 3 children and dog Lilah.
