Dr. Roald Jon Llado, MD

Roald Llado, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic total joint surgeon, Dr. Llado focuses his practice on management of general orthopedic conditions and fractures, reconstruction of fractures around prosthetic hip and knee implants, and hip and knee replacement surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures. He has received advanced training in the less invasive direct anterior total hip replacement, a muscle-sparing technique that potentially allows for earlier recovery.
His approach to patient care is to first listen to the needs and goals of each patient, and to provide the finest individualized orthopedic care. He attempts to exhaust conservative modalities before proceeding with surgical interventions. Dr. Llado believes that having open discussions regarding disease processes and setting appropriate expectations is essential for obtaining optimal outcomes.
