Dr. Robert Felix Mclain, MD

Robert McLain, MD, has moved his surgical practice to St Vincent Charity Medical Group in Cleveland.
Dr. McLain is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon with expertise in adult and pediatric spinal deformities, low back pain, and degeneration of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Recruited to the Cleveland Clinic in 1997, Dr. McLain is trained in both microsurgical and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. Dr. McLain is recognized as one of the outstanding researchers in the area of spinal disease and reconstruction, and directed the Spine Research Program at Cleveland Clinic and the Spine Surgery Fellowship program for over a decade. Dr. McLain has written over 200 articles for scientific journals and textbooks, and he serves as an Associate Editor for Spine, the international journal for spine surgery. He has won numerous awards, including Cleveland Best Doctor and Crain’s Healthcare Hero awards.
Dr. McLain has relocated his surgical practice to the St Vincent Charity …Medical Center, and now sees patients in Solon and in Cleveland at the main hospital. Now devoted to clinical practice, he focuses on spinal decompressions and fusions for degenerative disease, total disc replacement surgery for the lumbar and cervical spine, and treatment of lumbar and cervical pain and instability.
