Robert M. Michaud, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Robert Michaud is a board certified periodontist. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Recognized Specialty of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Robert Michaud was born in Quebec City, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University. He then attended Boston University where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He graduated with honors and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Michaud then completed his education earning a Master of Science Degree in Dentistry with a certificate in Periodontics from The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. This surgical residency allowed for extensive training in dental implants, bone grafting, periodontal disease and periodontal plastic surgery.
Dr. Michaud is a member of numerous national …organizations including The American Academy of Periodontology, The American Dental Association, The Academy of Osseointegration and is a member of The International Team for Implantology and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is also a member of many regional affiliations including the Southeastern Society of Periodontology, The Florida Association of Periodontology, The Florida Dental Association, The West Coast Dental Society and The Hillsborough Dental Society.
Dr. Michaud offers 10 years of experience in dentistry with over 6 years in surgery alone. He has also been involved in numerous research studies and is a published author. His interests include sports and spending time with his kids.
