Education and Training: Dr. Benigar earned their medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed the University of Mississippi in the Department of Psychiatry. He was elected Chief Resident and awarded the William Jaquith Aware for the most outstanding senior in his final year of the program. After finishing his residency program, he joined the staff at Methodist Richardson …Medical Center and Seay Behavioral Health Center to work in the psychiatric inpatient setting. At the same time, he was building up his private practice as a partner with Metroplex Psychiatric Associates. Areas of Expertise: Dr. Benigar has been in practice for over 17 years and loves to work with different patients of all ages and has a strong passion for helping patients on a deeply personal level.
