In addition to his position at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine as Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Division Head of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Kumra consults with child and adolescent patients at PrairieCare’s Woodbury Clinic. Throughout his career he has demonstrated his passion for helping children and adolescents who struggle with mental illness not only by providing direct patient care, but also through his contributions to scientific research. Dr. Kumra has published a large body of scholarly articles related to child onset schizophrenia and other psychiatric illnesses.
