Dr. Scott Dale Cordes, MD

As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Cordes’ medical interests range from sports-related injuries to trauma and arthritis. Dr. Cordes cares for trauma patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he has been an active member of the Trauma Quality Assessment Committee. As a clinician, Dr. Cordes strives to individualize each case and provide his patients with as much information as possible to ensure that they are able to make informed decisions about their treatment options. Dr. Cordes joined the practice now known as Northwestern Center for Orthopedics in 1989, and since then it has been his mission to provide his patients the same excellent service and care that he would offer to a member of his family. Dr. Cordes enjoys serving as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School, where he oversees the orthopedic curriculum and education of medical students.
