Dr. Scott M. Parkinson

Dr. Parkinson began his practice in Tremont in 1989 as a general dental practice, focusing on helping families achieve good dental health. Over the years he has noticed that a large number of people are still not going to the dentist out of fear of a needle or the whir of the drill, so Dr. Parkinson looked for equipment to get around this issue. It has been a long search, but he finally found a device that will greatly reduce the need for anesthesia and the sound of the drill. Also, during this search he attended many dental seminars that informed him of the growing need for cosmetic dentists, so while Dr. Parkinson will never abandon his philosophy about promoting good oral health for the whole family, he is expanding his knowledge in the area of cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Parkinson is a driven and hard working individual. He was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America at the early age of 14. Then he graduated from Temple University School of Dental Medicine in …Philadelphia in 1988 only six years after graduating high school instead of eight. He has completed many hours of continuing education every year since his graduation.
