Meet. Dr. Seana Covello
Dr. Covello is a board certified dermatologist who started her education at Fordham University – a top-ranked Catholic university in New York City. There, she earned a double Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Art History. She then proceeded to graduate with honors from the School of Medicine at Hahnemann University, and three years later completed her residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University. After graduation she was invited to become a clinical instructor in the Department of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University, as well as an assistant professor in the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Dermatology. Dr. Covello was awarded the Instructor of the Year in 2011 by the dermatology residents at the University of Pennsylvania.
While educating the future physicians of America, she practiced Dermatology in Philadelphia for 16 years before moving to the Main Line in 2013 to work in a private practice. She currently holds the …status of diplomat for the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Covello has repeatedly been recognized as a top dermatologist by Philadelphia Weekly magazine and year-after-year has been named a “Main Line Top Doc” by Main Line Today.
When she is not practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Covello loves spending time outdoors with her husband Greg and their daughter Maeve. As a Bryn Mawr native, who has returned to reside in her hometown, she enjoys treating her Main Line patients like family.
