Dr. Maroof is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. While she was raised in India, she received her medical education and was the recipient of a state and national merit scholarship. She has been living in the United States for 30 years, and has completed her psychiatric residency training from Wayne State University and Duke University. While raising her children, she interrupted her career to be with her kids while they were growing up. During that period she was privileged to travel all over the world and was able to get familiarized with different cultures. When her youngest child entered elementary school she returned to complete her residency training and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has been in private practice since 1999 and is fully devoted to her patients and her family.
