Dr. Hussain joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2006. He practices in the El Centro and Brawley area; specializing in kidney diseases which includes hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis at FMC Dialysis units. He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is also a certified interventional nephrologist, and performs hemodialysis access procedures in the Imperial Valley. He is also a sub investigator in the California Institute of Renal Research, El Centro.
Dr. Hussain attended medical school at Punjab Medical School in Faisalabad, Pakistan, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. After he completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in (UPMC), he completed his Nephrology fellowship training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
