Dr. Shaista Quddusi, MD

Dr. Quddusi is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. She earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed her internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She completed fellowship training in endocrinology and metabolism at Cook Hospital, and served as a senior research fellow in metabolism, endocrinology and nutrition at the University of Washington, Seattle.
Since 1998, she has worked as a clinical instructor in Clinical Endocrinology at the University of Washington Medical Center and is now the Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine. Dr. Quddusi has a particular medical interest in diabetes treatment. She believes the doctor and her patient are a team, and enjoys working together with her patients to achieve good health.
Dr. Quddusi is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Ponjabi.
