Dr. Shawn Ramsey, DO is Board Certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 and completed his OBGYN residency at Henry Ford Health System in Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident in his third and fourth years. He has spent the last 12 of his 16-plus years of healthcare experience serving the Tallahassee community. Dr. Ramsey is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists a professional association dedicated to the research and advancement of minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Dr. Ramsey is one of the first in the world, and the only physician in the region, to perform the single port hysterectomy using a robotic surgical system.
