Dr. Shreesh Prasad is a child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist with over 5 years of experience in psychiatry. Dr. Prasad specializes in medication management for the full range of mental health conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and OCD, but especially enjoys working with patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism spectrum disorder as well as those who suffer from trauma-related disorders. Dr. Prasad takes a holistic, multidisciplinary, and strengths-based approach to the patients in his care. He also emphasizes the importance of considering a person’s full environmental context, including familial, social, academic, and occupational factors. Dr. Prasad completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and his general psychiatry residency at the University of California, Davis. He has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Georgetown …University. In his free time, Dr. Prasad enjoys spending time with his wife, their dog Belle, family, and friends. He also enjoys yoga, hiking, tennis, and board games.
