Originally from India, I embarked on a journey to the United States, where I completed my residency in Adult Psychiatry. Subsequently, I pursued specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. At my practice, I firmly believe that mental health is a collaborative journey involving the child/adolescent, their family, and the clinician. Central to successful treatment is the establishment of a strong and trusting therapeutic alliance. Together, we embark on a journey to understand your child’s unique strengths and needs, empowering us to determine the most suitable treatment options available. Taking a holistic approach to each patient, I strive to comprehend their behaviors and emotions in their entirety. Our collaboration occurs within the framework of a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan, personalized to meet the individual needs of each patient and their family. I offer a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, …including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy, complemented by medication management when necessary. I am committed to providing empathetic and comprehensive care, guiding you and your loved ones towards enhanced mental well-being and resilience.
