Dr. Stephanie Ann Sansone, MD

Stephanie A. Sansone, M.D., is a fellowship-trained obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based practices in all aspects of treatment for pelvic floor disorders. Beyond conservative management and in-office procedures for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and overactive bladder, she is experienced in robotic, abdominal, and vaginal reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Sansone is thrilled to be practicing in New Jersey, where she grew up, to provide patient-centered care for her local community. Following her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, she attended medical school at Weill Cornell, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. During her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, she was inspired by how urogynecology improves her patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Sansone has presented at …national meetings and published articles and book chapters on a variety of topics in her field. She received the Fellow’s Teaching & Mentorship Award and Best Fellow Research Award during her fellowship at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. She is an affiliated member of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG).
