Dr Steven Tidwell

In practice since 1992, Dr. Steven Tidwell’s entire medical career as an Interventional Radiologist has continued to focus on the vascular system, correcting irregularities, such as blockages in the kidney, liver or arteries non-surgically. Using minimally invasive, image-guided techniques as well as a guidewire and catheter, Dr. Tidwell is the go-to physician at the hospital when surgery is either inappropriate or not an option.
Dr. Steven Tidwell’s residency training at the University of Louisville (1986-1991) included specific diagnostic ultrasound instruction, a skill that makes him uniquely qualified to accurately locate the origin of a patient’s vascular irregularities, map out an appropriate treatment plan, and successfully utilize the imaging technology that treats the varicosities. A Boston University fellowship in non-surgical vascular techniques (Interventional Radiology 1991-1992) solidified Dr. Tidwell’s skills in image-guided, minimally invasive and non-surgical …treatments.
Dr. Steven Tidwell founded Medicus Vein Care in 2005 to offer the best diagnosis, care and treatment for spider veins and varicose veins in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast areas. His patients attribute his ability to accurately diagnose the treatment needed to his expertise in ultrasound technology and 25 years of experience in vein removal. Dr. Tidwell’s unique skill set continues to attract physicians from around the country to learn the varicose vein treatments from him at his Medicus Vein Care office.
Steven Tidwell, M.D. is board certified with the American Board of Radiology and a member of the American College of Radiology, American College of Phlebology, Florida Radiologic Society and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
