Dr. Kamisetty received his M.B.B.S degree from Bangalore University, India. As part of his training before completion of his medical program, he rotated in various departments like OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine and Rural Medicine. He later completed his primary care Pediatric Residency from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, a New York Medical College consortium. During his residency he was the recipient of “Intern of the Year award”. He also trained at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY; New Rochelle Medical Center, New Rochelle, NY and NYACK, NY during his residency.
He is board certified in Pediatrics since 1996 and has been practicing in Brandon, FL since 1999. Dr. K is affiliated to Brandon Regional Hospital and does take care of newborns at the hospital, and he is the only community pediatrician who admits and provides inpatient care to sick children from his clinic or through ER at the hospital.
Dr. Kamisetty lives in Valrico …and his two children attend local IB high school. In his spare time he enjoys travelling with his family. His hobbies include reading, yoga, personal fitness.
