About Me
After obtaining my MD degree from medical school and graduating with honors, I spent some time deciding my specialty of practice. It was a hard decision but a rewarding one. I decided to join a residency program in the field of psychiatry. This specialty focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing mental and emotional conditions. After completing three years of training in general psychiatry, I decided to further sub-specialize in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I completed two years of fellowship in Child and Adolescent psychiatry and graduated with two awards. I also served as a chief fellow and participated in administrative and research work during my training.
I chose Kaiser Permanente because I wanted to join an established organization which continues to strive and provide excellent care to their members. I realize and agree with the Kaiser Permanente focus on health prevention and maintenance and am proud to be part of this proactive team.
