Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeon. She received her medical doctorate from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico and New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She completed her general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She completed her breast surgery fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She is the Medical Director of The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Mitchell is a pioneer in the field of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.
