Dr. Hong is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed her post-graduate training at the University of Connecticut, Internal Medicine Program. She went on to complete a fellowship in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at SUNY–Stony Brook University, in New York, where she then became a clinical assistant instructor. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology.
