Dr. Syed Ajaz Ahmed, MD

I was born in the metropolitan city of Karachi in Pakistan. I graduated from Dow Medical College in 1995 and moved to the U.S.A. for further training. I did my pathology residency training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, which is the western campus of Tufts University. Following this, I moved to the University of Miami where I did my residency training in medical genetics. After finishing my clinical genetics residency in Miami, I went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for a fellowship in molecular genetics pathology.
