Dr. Tarek Garada, MD

Dr. Garada is committed to providing the best care for his patients. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has a special interest in treating juvenile diabetes, childhood asthma and reflux disease in newborns and children.
Dr. Garada believes in approaching his patients and families in a non-intimidating, relaxed manner. He especially welcomes the opportunity to teach first-time parents how to care for their newborns. He is patient and devoted to making families comfortable with their medical care and concerns.
Dr. Garada received his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria. He completed his residency in pediatric and human development at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Garada served as the supervisor of Pediatric Intensive Care at Henry Ford Hospital and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, where he gained extensive experience with premature infants. He has been on staff at Botsford Hospital since 1996 and participates in the intern and residency teaching …program. His career has also included expert care in emergency medicine.
Dr. Garada is fluent in both English and Arabic. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
